ABSTRACT. Use of collagen as drug release system is very comprehensive and varied from the viewpoint of structural patterns and bioactive composites with various drugs. In this work the compatibility between the collagen and drug – gentamicin as such and conditioned by drying as crosslinked and non-crosslinked matrices was investigated with the view of obtaining systems of controlled release of drugs.
