ABSTRACT. This paper reveals the rheologic behavior of shark liver oil and lecithin. Shark liver oil is a considerable alkyl-glycerol source. Shearing strength is dependent on the shearing rate, thus showing the shark liver oil and lecithin viscosities being not dependent on the shearing rate within the experimental error range. Therefore, the shark liver oil and lecithin are shown to behave like pseudo plastic fluids or Bingham fluids.

ABSTRACT. The second part of the paper consists of the research made in order to establish a simulation method of footwear behavior on wearing, under laboratory conditions. Various materials for footwear front members, padding, and soles. The developed method is based on the Arrhenius law, functioning on the principle of extrapolating data obtained in short times in order to evaluate long term performances.
